Standard packages

Bronze Package: $150

• Rootz RS’ Standard Moving Checklist - Our checklist is an extensive, step-by-step walkthrough of all the aspects of moving from choosing your neighborhood and city, to finding the right movers for your needs, to setting up utilities, canceling autopay, and deep cleaning your current home after move-out. You will be provided with great tips and suggestions on how to effectively navigate important tasks as well as food for thought on overlooked topics like pet care and properly preparing for your road trip

• The Dos and Don’ts of Moving - Suggestions, warnings, and ways to financially prepare for a major move

•  Personal Consultation - 1-hour consultation to answer questions and guide you through the beginning stages of your move plus three bonus referrals to cover some of your main concerns.

Silver Package: $750

• Personal Consultation and Weekly Sessions

  • Initial consultation to discuss needs and concerns

  • Weekly follow-ups on progress, goals, and changes

  • 1-hour final conversation to go over the checklist, answer any questions, etc.

• Customized Moving “Checklist”

  • Consider me your personal assistant during this period. I research and provide resources, guidance, support, and referrals, personalized to you and your family’s specific needs. We work together from beginning to end to ensure your move runs as smoothly as possible.

    • ALL referrals will come from locals in the city you are moving to, through extensive social media networking (neighborhood Facebook groups, blogs, articles, colleagues, etc.) as well as online research and consumer reviews, included but not limited to:

      • Real-estate or Rental Agents

      • Most reliable, top-rated movers for your needs

      • Local Handymen in the event you are in need of home repairs for your current or new property

      • Internet and Utility options

      • Public Schools/Daycares/Privates schools

      • Referrals to doctors, pediatricians, counselors, etc.

Note: I do not use exclusive vendors, nor do I accept incentives from my referrals, it’s important to me that all services I suggest to you are based solely on research and chosen for the quality and consistency of their service.

Gold Package: $3500

• Personal Consultation

  • 1-hour initial get-to-know-you consultation to discuss every goal, hope, and concern you may have in relation to the move

• Customized Checklist Managed and Overseen by Rootz to Completion

  • I am at your service, for all of your moving needs, from the moment you have decided to move to the day you hang that final picture, put your feet up, and help yourself to a well-deserved glass/plate of something special.

• 4-Month Commitment

  • Weekly email and phone check-ins to discuss progress and potential changes

  • Helping you choose a city/neighborhood based on your wants, needs, values, and goals

  • Manage all punch-list items from beginning to move-in, including but not limited to gathering quotes, service options, and information, as well as handling all scheduling.

Just a few examples of what I cover: Utility cancellation and set-up, hiring movers based on your personal needs and price point, interviewing daycares and researching doctors, scheduling handymen/contractors/etc. for home needs, helping you navigate the process/protocol for license and registration transfer, and the list keeps going!!!

Miscellaneous Services

First Stage: $500

• Personal Consultations

  • 1-hour initial consultation to discuss your needs and wants

  • 2 x 1-hour follow up consultations 

• Customized Information

  • Excel spreadsheet with a breakdown of each city and neighborhood that best fits your needs including but not limited to:

    • Feedback, quotes from locals, and information based on research and community networking

    • Safety, walkability, dining, shopping, entertainment, current real estate market in the area with average housing costs, and school information

Post Move: $300

• Personal Consultation

  • 1-hour consultation to brainstorm and create a punch-list of up to 10 to-do items

  • 2 x 1-hour follow up consultations to discuss completion of punch-list as well as any other concerns, questions, or needs

• Customized Information

  • Provide referrals and assistance with the execution of each punch list item from beginning to completion

A la Carte: $75/hour
